MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has made significant inroads into Latin pop. The hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu was winner of the Colombian Kids Choice Award for Most Popular Song in 2017. His debut album ADN was made available by La Industria Inc., which is a Medellin-based Sony distribution company. The album reached number 8 within the Top Latin Albums Chart. The following year he was a part of Ozuna for the Top Five smash Vaina Loca. Mala Influencia is his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. The following year, Dopamina came out as his sophomore album. In 2021, he performed as a duo TINI for her hit streaming single Maldita Foto. The hit single La Bachata from 2000 was published in 2023. Turizo is a renowned musician, born in a musical home. His parents and brothers also played the guitar. According to Turizo, music was a fundamental element of his existence. He learned how to play the guitar, saxophone the ukulele and piano when he was a young child. The initial goal was to be a vet however, his brother Julian convinced him to study how to sing under an instructor from a Cuban teacher. It was the result that he discovered his own talents for singing, and the result transformed his career path.
